There was a time when coffee was just part of the morning.
Like a lot of people, I brewed a cup, added cream and sugar, and never gave much thought to where it came from or when it had been roasted.
Then I experienced truly fresh coffee. The aroma was richer. The flavors were smoother. The entire experience was different.
I remember thinking,
"I didn't know coffee could be this good."
That single cup changed the way I looked at coffee and eventually led to Hiwassee Roasted Coffee.

Hiwassee Roasted Coffee began in our home in Etowah, Tennessee, where every bag is roasted fresh in small batches with care and attention to quality.
We proudly craft our coffee under Tennessee's Cottage Food Laws, allowing us to roast and sell directly to our customers while staying true to the freshness and craftsmanship that inspired Hiwassee from the very beginning.
As Hiwassee grows, our goal is simple: continue helping people discover how enjoyable fresh coffee can be without ever losing the personal care that comes from roasting each batch with purpose.
