The Difference Is Freshness

Most people have never experienced coffee roasted just days before it reaches their cup. The difference becomes clear the moment you open the bag. First comes the incredible aroma. Then comes a smoother, richer cup that reminds you coffee can be something to look forward to—not just something to wake you up.

Freshly Roasted

Every bag is roasted in small batches so you can enjoy coffee at its peak freshness and flavor.

Incredible Aroma

Open the bag and you’ll understand why people often stop and say, “That smells so good!”

Smooth, Rich Flavor

Every sip is smooth, balanced, and satisfying—the kind of coffee that makes you pause and appreciate the moment.

More Than a Cup of Coffee

At Hiwassee Roasted Coffee, we believe coffee is meant to be experienced—not just consumed.

Every order is roasted fresh in small batches in Etowah, Tennessee and crafted with care under Tennessee's Cottage Food Laws. What started with one surprising cup of freshly roasted coffee became a passion for helping people discover how enjoyable fresh coffee can be.

We hope your first sip makes you think,

"I didn't know coffee could be this good."

Craftsmanship

At Hiwassee Roasted Coffee, we take pride in our commitment to craftsmanship. We carefully select the finest green coffee beans, ensuring exceptional quality and freshness. Our skilled artisan roasts the coffee in small batches, paying meticulous attention to detail to achieve the optimum roast profiles. The result is a coffee that exemplifies the artistry and dedication behind every cup.

Our Roasting Process

We use an Artisan 3e fluid bed roaster. A fluid bed roaster forces hot air into the hopper through the beans. The flow of hot air heats the coffee beans and provides a constant movement throughout the bean bed.

This process ensures that the coffee beans are only in contact with the hot air during the roast, producing a clean smooth tasting coffee.
